The original focus of the operation when it was founded 118 years ago, was the white kaolin clay, while the sand contained in the reserves was treated as a by-product of the clay process. Today, Edgar Minerals, continues to produce the unique, high quality clay along with premium and custom blended sand products for industrial and construction use.
