“Edible Art Specialty Cakes & Cookies” was born in a small home kitchen in the piney woods of East Texas. Mom’s found custom cakes and cookies made with pride for their children. Then, the Longview Ballet ordered 600+ swan cookies for their performance of “Swan Lake.” “Edible Art” was no longer a secret. While many friends and family helped keep up with production, the marketing research, business plan and search for a location began. Be careful what you pray for: “Lord, we need a location, any little building will do, "It’ll Do".” This led us to the “It’ll Do Tavern” a bar for 40+ years on South Street in Longview, Texas. Try explaining to your dear friends and family that you bought a bar! Thanks to so many for their love, support and believing in a little dream. May 1st, 2007 “Edible Art Specialty Cakes & Cookies, LLC” was legally born. Thanks to ALL our clients that continue to support and keep the little dream alive.
