The Edmond Animal Shelter considers itself a low-kill facility. As a municipal shelter, we do not have the luxury of choosing what animals to take in - as long as they originate from within the corporate city limits of Edmond, we must take them in regardless of their behavior or health.
Animals that are determined to be "adoptable" are held indefinitely until they find a forever home.
