Educating Tanzania Foundation

"Breaking Poverty through Education." The Educating Tanzania Foundation was founded by Nancy Bushek. During a volunteer trip to Tanzania, she came to know and love many children who do not have the luxury or opportunity to go to school and receive a proper education. This standard of life perpetuates poverty and ignorance. During Nancy's time in Arusha she discovered children have an eagerness to learn that is refreshing and inspiring. It is the mission of The Educating Tanzania Foundation to enable opportunity for the poorest of children of Tanzania, and in doing so, provide a new life of possibilities to these children through the generosity of others.

The secondary goal of The Educating Tanzania Foundation is to establish and facilitate an ongoing communication between Member-Donors and their beneficiaries. While this includes emails from our organization considering their studies, health, life milestones and achievements, we also would like to focus on establishing direct communication between the children and their sponsors. This will allow our Member Donors to hear directly from their sponsored children about their lives, their dreams and their goals!

Already our Member-Donors have had the pleasure of hearing specific information about their sponsored kids, and have been overjoyed to know that their contributions are changing these children's lives.
