BACKGROUND: What started out as a way to simply spread Bobcat spirit on the internet, one student realized that a social networking site could become so much more. First starting out from Myspace then expanding to YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, the Bobcat Connection was born out of the dream that Edinburg High School could have its own multimedia network using the power of social networking. Something to preserve the memories, to record the history in the making and to keep the EHS community updated and aware of everything going on at the school. EHS: The Bobcat Connection is Edinburg High School's very own exclusive multimedia network providing Bobcat news, photos, videos and more to students, staff, alumni, and fans on and off campus in a friendly, fun, and professional way. PAGE ADMIN: This facebook page along with the provided Twitter and Youtube pages are the OFFICIAL sites for The Bobcat Connection. Any other is false and in no way associated with it. The Bobcat Connection's facebook, twitter, and youtube are official EHS sites and any other is NOT unless the school's administration or a school sponsor has approved them. We encourage fans and students to spread the Bobcat Pride but we wanted to clarify that fan made pages/accounts are not school approved and are not associated 'officially' with the school itself.

The name "EHS: The Bobcat Connection", adopted in Spring 2011, is completely original. Any likeness to another name is strictly coincidental .
