It has been a dream of the Mangum family to have a small self sustaining farm. For years they have researched different farm philosophies. Last August, they were blessed with an opportunity to move to a beautiful piece of land, where they could put their ideas into practice. Since then, the Mangums have been raising laying hens, which get moved in their egg mobile to ensure they get fresh grass often. Using chicken tractors, their Cornish cross broilers are moved daily. After being processed these broilers weight between 4-5 pounds. Turkeys, rabbits, and ponies also occupy the farm land! The couple's eight arrows enjoy feeding, holding, and caring for all the different animals.
