DR DUNG "MICHAEL" TRAN

DR MICHAEL DUNG TRAN of East Jefferson Family Practice received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Tulane University majoring in Biomedical Engineering. He received his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans. Following medical school, he completed a three year residency in Family Medicine at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana. Dr Tran continues to stay involved with the Residency Program teaching and supervising Resident Doctors and medical students. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
Dr Tran serves as Principle Investigator of many clinical trials on diabetes, blood pressure, weight loss, and others at the Medical Research of Louisiana. He has extensively trained in Medical Cosmetics and performs procedures such as Botox injections, Filler (Juvederm) injections, laser hair removal, and laser skin rejuvenation/wrinkle reduction.

DR DUNG "ALEX" HOANG, MD

DR ALEX HOANG graduated from LSU-Baton Rouge in 1997, majoring in Zoology/Physiology. He attended medical school at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport and graduated in 2002. Dr Hoang then completed his residency training right here in Metairie at East Jefferson General Hospital. During his residency training, he also served as Chief Resident. Dr Hoang continues to stay involved with the Residency Program teaching and supervising Resident Doctors and medical students. He is currently Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Along with his Board certification in Family Medicine, he is also trained and Board Certified in Sleep Medicine. He has extensively trained in Medical Cosmetics and offers procedures such as Botox injections, Filler (Juvederm) injections, laser hair removal, and laser skin rejuvenation/wrinkle reduction.
