The 2016 World Gold Panning Championships organizers include American gold panning enthusiasts, passionate volunteers and historians. Together we seek to host an amazing event to WOW the worldwide professional gold panning community and our local community. The WGA will officiate the competition but our community, historical associations and wonderful family owned businesses have the opportunity to bring the best El Dorado County has to offer to the many visitors.
