More about El Dorado Haunt

Hello, there and welcome to the official El Dorado Haunt Facebook page. We have been in touch with the most blood-curling characters from the horror movies that once gave you night terrors and still haunt you today to unite and welcome you into your own personal horror story. They've been thirsting for new blood... and all hapless humans brave enough to face your fears will experience southern inhospitality at its best.

You've seen the movies... You've felt the fear.... now you will experience the evil like never before.

The 2016 Haunting Season will be the first time we have opened our doors to make your cinema nightmares come true.

You will find us waiting for you at the east entrance of the Mellor Park Mall on 2015 North West Avenue, rain or shine. But, we won't wait forever...

The El Dorado Haunt will be open to all victims on October 20th until Halloween night as follows:
• Thursdays 7-10 PM
• Fridays & Saturdays 7-11 PM
• Halloween night, Monday, October 31st 7-10 PM

For just $15 per human it would be our greatest pleasure to draw you into the darkest depths alongside cinema’s worst nightmares come to life. We fully expect that you will lose control of rational thought and calmness as panic and fear overload your senses and abilities.

Fear is a place. We call it... the Eldorado Haunt. #eldohaunt

Check back with us here on Facebook.com/eldohaunt to stay up to date on all the terrifying details.

All of the proceeds from the Haunt will benefit Camp Fire El Dorado, a non-profit organization doing its part to help its 700 young participants find their spark and discover who they are through day camps, after school outreach programs, outdoors education and supporting individual Camp Fire club programs where students learn, serve others and develop positive relationships. Visit campfireeldorado.org to learn more.

Should you and your friends survive the Eldorado Haunt, you'll want to seek out the next hauntingly good thrill and lucky for you, you don’t need to go far to find it. Don't miss the Southern Gothicon beginning October 28 at the Eldorado Conference Center.

Brought to you by El Dorado Festivals and Events Inc., the Southern Gothicon will include a screening of a horror film series featuring classical and contemporary horror movies with surprise guest appearances planned for audience talkback sessions after the films. The Southern Gothicon is co-hosted by You-tube sensations Zombie Go Boom and their team will be on site all weekend to do interactive workshops building their patented Zed heads for zombie destruction, makeup workshops in preparation for your Halloween parties, and an interactive zombie experience where you are the survivor in a Zombie Apocalypse. Visit Facebook.com/eldofest for more about Southern Gothicon.

And finally, why not round out your Halloween weekend at the South Arkansas Arts Centers theatre to view a live performance of Victor Gialanella’s Frankenstein from the novel written by Mary Shelley. The Frankenstein production will run Halloween weekend, October 27-30, 2016. Search “South Arkansas Arts Center” on Facebook for show times and ticket sales information.
