El Ranchito

El Ranchito was first opened by Juanita Cardenas in 1935 in the Depot by the railroad. In 1940 the restaurant expanded to a new building at 607 Kingsbury Street. Business continued to grow and in 1967 the restaurant moved to its location on Highway 90. Danny and Cecilia DelaGarza took over the restaurant from his aunts Trinidad and Modesta Cardenas in 1990. Continued success lead to the building of the current location on Highway 123 (directly across from the High School stadium and tennis courts) in 1994. Ciro's Cocktail Bar is also located at the restaurant. Danny and Cecilia's son Robby has also expanded the restaurant's services to include catering. Thanks to hard work and good food this family business has served the Seguin area for over 70years.
