The Eli Whitney Volunteer Fire Department is located in south-eastern Alamance County and operates out of two stations. Station 5 is our main station, and is located at 7618 NC 87 S Graham, NC 27253. Our sub- station, Station 11, is located at 4606 NC 87 S Graham, NC 27253.
Station 5 is staffed 24 hours a day by one member of our career staff. During the work week, between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm, we have an additional member on duty at Station 5 to supplement our career staffing. In addition to our career staff, our department relies heavily on the response of our dedicated volunteers. Both our career and volunteer membership work as a unit to provide the highest level of service to our community.
Our department provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services. We provide service at the Emergency Medical Technician level and respond to all life-threatening medical emergencies in our district with the Alamance County Emergency Medical Service.
While we are staffed for emergency response 24 hours a day, our staff is frequently out of the station for both emergencies and training. For emergencies, always dial 911; do NOT call the fire station. For non-emergency purposes, please contact us at (336) 376-9078.
