ELIM IDENTITY

WE STAND IN GRACE - Everything we have and will accomplish is by the grace of God. We are amazed by His grace.

WE ARE SOWERS - We sow into the Lord's work. We are investing in the Kingdom expecting a return.

WE ARE SCRIPTURE FOCUSED - We are focused on living according to the infallible perfect Word of God.

WE ARE CHRIST CENTERED - He is the center of our lives and desires.

WE ARE DRIVEN BY THE GOSPEL - Everything we do is motivated by the Gospel. We are His witnesses.

WE ARE EMPOWERED BY THE HOLY GHOST - As His witnesses, He has given us power to fight against sin and principalities.

WE ARE PART OF A COMMUNITY - The church is not a weekend event. But a community of Christ followers. We are a member of that community!

WE WALK BY FAITH - The vision God has given us is BIG to fulfill it will require audacious faith.

WE ARE ONE BODY - We are not a collection of groups. We are one body in Christ walking in unity towards the fulfilment of one vision.

WE ARE WORSHIPERS - We worship at the feet of our great holy sovereign and ever-saving God.

WE ARE FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST - A disciple is a faithful follower of Christ ever learning more about Him. It is our desire to follow Him in all things, and make other followers by His good grace.

WE ARE INTERCESSORS - We beseech heaven persistently for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

WE ARE TURNING THE WORLD UPSIDE DOWN - As a part of this community, we are turning Hampton Roads upside down by obeying the will of Christ.
