Elite Dance Center is dedicated to creating an inviting and comfortable environment for dancers to learn, grow and develop his or her own passion for dance. We strive to assist every dancer in meeting his or her full potential with high quality, well-rounded training in a positive learning atmosphere. Elite Dance Center’s goal is to have every EDC member leave class motivated and energized to continue his or her training.

Sara Taylor is the founder and CEO of Pointe Snaps Ballet Accessories,pointesnaps.com,is the Founder and Artistic Directer of the Mid Atlantic Ballet, and the Founder and Artistic Director of the Delaware Dance Festival. Sara will be teaching open ballets during the month of September.

Kevin Grant is a primary ballet instructor at the New American Conservatory in Fort Wayne. Kevin has studied classical ballet for many years and attended Butler University majoring in ballet for one year. Kevin later decided to finish his schooling in Fort Wayne while performing and training at the New American Conservatory. In May of 2012, Kevin plans to move overseas to perform for a ballet company in Australia.

Katie Knott was one of the founding members of the New American Youth Ballet and Conservatory in 2004. In 2008, at the age of 16, Katie was accepted into a year-round program with the Alonzo King LINES Ballet in San Francisco, CA (a contemporary ballet company). After two years of prestigious dancing in California, Katie decided to move back to Fort Wayne to pursue a career in communication arts and graphic design at the University of Saint Francis. Katie has an enormous amount of dance and performing experience to share with all of you and I am thrilled to have her teaching open jazz and lyrical classes in September!
