We are a volunteer based organization dedicated to bridging the funding gap for childhood cancer research. Volunteers raise money and shave their heads in solidarity with the victims of the #1 childhood disease killer - cancer. Currently childhood cancers receive less than 4% of research dollars from the National Institutes of Health. Most other cancer organizations give less than a penny per dollar raised to childhood cancers. Treatment protocols are over 25 years old. Childhood caner is NOT RARE. Diagnoses are on the rise. Every dollar counts.
