Building Faith

At Elm Grove Baptist Church, we desire to help people encounter the grace of God by building faith. We believe that faith is the foundation of all of life; not just any faith, but faith in Jesus Christ as God’s Son and our Savior.

We understand that many people struggle with issues of faith. The Bible tells the story of a man who wanted Jesus to heal his son. Jesus told him that all things were possible to those who believe. The man replied, “I believe. Help my unbelief” (Mark 9:23-24). That story reminds us that there is always room to grow in our faith.

Elm Grove Baptist Church desires to help people develop a personal faith in Jesus Christ and to help them build upon that initial faith to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. No matter where you are in your walk of faith, Elm Grove Baptist Church is here to help. Giving Hope

At Elm Grove Baptist Church, we desire to help people encounter the grace of God by giving hope. Life is tough sometimes. Tragedies, heartaches, and calamities of all kinds can invade our lives without warning. Often those tragic events leave us feeling numb, alone and hopeless.

At Elm Grove Baptist Church, we believe that the grace of God is available to strengthen and encourage us through life’s difficulties. We believe in a God who is able to turn tragedies into triumphs for all who call upon Him. God is able to make all things work together for our good and His glory.

Elm Grove Baptist Church is a place for flawed and hurting people. Perfect people need not apply. We are the kind of fellowship that weeps with those who weep as well as rejoices with those who rejoice. We desire to be a fellowship of mutual support and encouragement as we help people encounter the grace of God.

Showing Love

At Elm Grove Baptist Church, we desire to help people encounter the grace of God by showing love. The Bible declares that “God is love” (1 John 4:8). The Bible also commands God’s people to love others with the same love with which God has loved us—unconditional and sacrificial.
