Elrick

Elrick is the fashion brand of Rick Gonyo. Rick was born and raised in upstate New York, taking an atypical path towards his passion for design. He spent many years working in space planning and facilities management. During a major change in his life at age 60 he started to hone and develop his skills as a costumer-specializing in Asian period garb. That has carried over into his modern fashion work with colorful garments with an artistic bent that incorporate eastern and western influences. Rick’s creations have been featured in numerous shows, photo shoots and charity events. Rick has shown during Austin Fashion Week, designed costumes for ballet companies and created pieces for fundraisers for scholarships and Breast Cancer. He was the 2013 recipient of the Butterfly Entertainment Award for Most Inspiring Member of the Austin Fashion Community.
