Elsinore Mountains / San Mateo Canyon Wilderness

This represents the northeast section of the San Mateo Canyon Wilderness Area (SMCWA). The San Mateo Canyon Wilderness is in the Trabuco Ranger District of the Cleveland National Forest. The SMCWA is bounded on the north by the Ortega Highway, the south by Los Alamos Road, the east by South Main Divide Road and the west by Potrero de la Cienega. Geographic features include the Morgan Trail, Tenaja Trail, Elsinore Mountains High Point, upper San Mateo Canyon and Tenaja Falls.
