Elysburg Presbyterian Church

EPC describes itself as a Transitional Church. A Transitional Church is a church that incorporates both the traditional and missional values of what it means to be a church and has made a deliberate decision to move into a positive, future-embracing vision that says: We have not yet experienced this congregation's greatest ministry.

A church in transition intentionally uses both traditional hymns and liturgy interspersed with praise songs and contemporary liturgy. A church in transition is willing to change the way they preach and teach, making sure that the bible is the central focus of preaching and teaching, and that the message proclaimed is relevant and Christ-centered. They are willing to look outside of themselves to discover the needs of the people around them.
