Embodied Truth

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist through the NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork) and insured by the ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals). I specialize in Clinical Massage Therapy including Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage and Myofascial Release as well as having several years of clinical experience working with sufferers of chronic pain due to postural deviations, joint pain, tension headaches, migraines, and TMJ. I also practice Relaxation and Therapeutic Bodywork and am Prenatal Certified. As a Bodyworker, I am in constant awe of our bodies and their ability to heal themselves. I consider it a great honor to foster the healing process in the people I work with, and appreciate the opportunity to bear daily witness to the mind-body connection. I believe deeply in the importance of self-care and the healing of intentional touch in the midst of the hectic nature of modern living. My goal is to help you return to and maintain a compassionate, pain-free life so that you can sink more deeply into your own embodied truth.

I work at Renew Mama Studio (www.renewmamastudio.com) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as at my office in Alger Heights.
