The camera and I have been friends since I was a teenager. I have this fascination with capturing life and delivering images that speak. I launched my business back in 2005 with a big ol' pregnant belly and a point and shoot camera. I quickly graduated to a real camera with real lenses. I have enjoyed this journey and am still enjoying every aspect of my business. From setting up the session and talking outfits to helping a client overcome the fear of the lens. I love it all. I love working with families year after year, watching the children grow and knowing their names. I love that the children know my name. To capture an engagement, be right there at the ceremony and then schedule a maternity shoot a few years later just blows my mind. Did I mention that I love my job? I am into weddings big time. Weddings have become my favorite of all my photography. Everyone is at their best and looks so sharp. Weddings are my thing. Every time I shoot, I want more. I am grateful. (Recent edit: I married my best friend, who is also a wedding photographer, Chad Erickson, last year. Life is dreamy.)
