Emmaus City Church

On the road to Emmaus, Jesus met two people who thought He was still dead after being crucified. He walked with them, talked with them, and stayed with them. And at the meal, He broke bread with them - then they realized it was Him. The vision of Emmaus City Church in Worcester, MA is to see people moved from death to life by salvation in Jesus, and coming together as God's people to bridge race, class, and culture by following Jesus. So many in Worcester are hungry for the redemption, reconciliation, restoration, and renewal only the Spirit of God can give through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. So we intentionally open our homes, serve those we meet, and share our lives with people in our diverse city so that many can experience and enjoy the life God graciously gives. We are part of the Soma family of churches, the Acts 29 Network of churches who plant churches, and the historic Christian Reformed Church denomination. Pastor Mike Sullivan serves as our lead pastor.
