Endless Mountains Model Railroad Club

The Endless Mountains Model Railroad Club is an organization to promote the wonderful hobby of model railroading in Wyoming and Susquehanna counties of Northeast Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.

The club was founded in January 2010 by model railroad enthusiasts in the area who were looking for an organization closer than the existing ones in the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre area.

The EMMRRC is open to members of all ages. Youths and families are especially welcome.

When the club was founded, meetings were held at either the Lake Carey Fire Company, or St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Tunkhannock, thanks to the generosity of two of our founding members, assistant fire chief Jody Nichols and Rev. Murray Brindle.

In September 2012, the club acquired a permanent home in a building along Route 29 in Dimock, thanks to the extreme generosity of club member Mike DePaola.

Currently, the club is working on a modular display, which it can take to shows and other events. Straight modules that fit between the corners are being built by individual members.

With the advent of a permanent home, the club is now beginning plans for a stationary layout to fill the room. A workbench and other amenities are also being considered.

Membership requires a one-time $25.00 initiation fee, plus $5.00 a month dues. Special rates are available for youths and families. Contact us or stop by a meeting for more information. Visitors and new members are always welcome!
