What We Believe

Our name Advent Christians means "Christians awaiting the Second Coming of Christ." Titus 2:13

We believe:

*In God the Father, Creator of all things. Genesis 1
*In Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior. 1 John 4:9
*In the Holy Spirit, the presence and power of God in His Church. John 16:13
*In the Scriptures, as our only rule of faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 and 2 Peter 1:21
*In immersion as our mode of baptism. Colossians 2:12, Romans 6
*In the Lord's Supper, a fellowship of all true Christians irrespective of denomination. 1 Corinthians 10:17
*In the Kingdom of God as an abode of the resurrected saints - upon the earth made new, at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Revelation 21:1-3
*In Sunday as being the day of worship, Christ's resurrection day. Luke 24:1-8, Acts 20:7
