EPIC - Crossway Youth Group

I believe that I speak for the majority when I say that the world today is not the world of the past. I speak not of generations ago, but of only one generation; my generation. How quickly things have changed in a short 25 years. What was common place, is hardly seen; what is seen, is heartbreaking. Homes are broken, families are divided, addictions are destroying, and depression is rampant in our world today. Our youth needs a place to gather, to be accepted, to find help, but mostly to be loved and understand that they are loved beyond measure. I am working with a wonderful team of people who share this same vision. We hope, this passion for our youth, will spread like wildfire through our community. Our desire is to start an upward trend of healing and purpose, an upward trend of forgiveness and love, that will reflect in the lives of our young people to the world around them. It is time, and it is going to be E.P.I.C.

E.P.I.C. is operating under Crossway Christian Church in Three Rivers, and is open to all children 12-18 years of age and in 7th-12th grade. The Word of God is our motivation and will be shared in our group message each night. We will incorporate music that helps to build on the foundation we are laying. This area desperately needs a place like E.P.I.C. and we feel blessed to be able to offer this outlet to our community. All of our youth need a place of refugee, a place to belong. Our hope, is that they will find exactly that at E.P.I.C. I leave you with Jeremiah 29:11, “ For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the Lord. ‘ I have plans to prosper you, not harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.” We hope to see you on Friday, April 17th.
