Equi-Dreams: Equestrian Life Coaching and Leadership Development

I was bit by the horse bug as a child and was lucky to be able to ride and pony club throughout high school. After high school though, there were long periods where I didn't ride at all and my riding skills and knowledge were lost steadily over the years. When I returned to riding 10 years ago it felt like I was starting over. And it was challenging for me to excel in my career, take care of the house, take care of the barn, and still find time to ride or work with my horses. Having talked to many other women, I've realized that women who are just starting to ride, have returned to riding, or have been riding for years face many challenges in finding the balance in their lives that allows them to experience the many benefits of riding or working with horses while still taking care of their other responsibilities. And after working with a life coach to address my frustrations with my riding trajectory (and making tremendous strides) I decided that this was something I wanted to offer specifically to women equestrians (although I do coach the occasional non-horse person!). Since working with my first life coach, I've completed the John Maxwell Coaching Certification Program and have also completed intensive training the Immunity to Change approach of confronting and overcoming limiting beliefs. I have a wide variety of tools we can use to help you reach your goals. I also understand the importance and challenges of maintaining the equestrian elements of your lifestyle in ways that not many other life coaches can fathom.
