Hi, my name is Erin and I love to bake. I was taught at an early age by my mother. When I was 10 I was diagnosed with type one Diabetes and decided that if I couldn't enjoy sweet treats, then I would be happy to satisfy someone else's craving.
I received an Associates of Applied Science degree for Chef Training in 2006.
I like to eat healthy, so I do the best I can for my desserts as well by replacing butter and oils for healthier applesauce or flax seed.
I don't like to use artificial colors or flavors unless a specific color is desired that would require me to.
I use frosting and fondant for cakes and cake balls are usually dipped in white or dark chocolate.
I love a challenge and I am always open to new ideas!
I can make no sugar added and gluten free as well!
