Essence Pilates

Located on the North Shore of Chicago in Deerfield, Essence Pilates was founded in July 2004 by Marilee P. Marilee started her classical Pilates training at The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado, and finished her instructor certification from The Phyiscal Mind Institute based in New York, New York. In 2009 Marilee completed the Certified Masters Program from The Pilates Center of Boulder.

All instructors of Essence Pilates are fully certified and classically trained. With many hours of teaching, observation and apprenticeship, the instructors at Essence Pilates are known for their knowledge of and passion for the human body. Essence Pilates instructors come from many different backgrounds such as dance, choreography, athletics and personal training.
