Essex Running Club

The Essex Running Club, founded in 1983 prides itself on being Northern New Jersey’s friendliest running club. We welcome runners of all ages and abilities. We organize group runs every Sunday. In addition to offering many running related activities, we also enjoy non-running activities, such as bus trips, skiing and wine tasting parties.

Which runner are you? Fast, slow, middle-of-the-pack? Brand-new or experienced? Returning? Recreational or competitive? Walker or health-conscious exerciser? Road racer or trail enthusiast? Serial marathoner? Fan, spectator? Young, old, in between? Biathlete, triathlete, ultra-runner? Or simply someone looking for fun, friendship, and support with an accent on physical activity?
