We believe that you are limited only by your understanding, imagination, and tenacity. Our goal is to help you rise above your expectations, regardless of where you’ve placed them. To that end, Ethos Combatives encompass much more than situational self-defense, mixed martial arts, or the development of targeted attributes like confidence or discipline.

Combat is complex and the tools and tactics you develop depend heavily on the nature of the combat you’re preparing for. Our students include police, security, and military personnel; individuals who need to become highly proficient in the execution of both lethal and nonlethal solutions to a spectrum of attacks quickly. We deal with serious concepts like knife defense, where survival and making it home take precedence over earning belts, ranks, or trophies.

We teach our arts using the philosophy of Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, “Use only that which works, and take it from any place you can find it.”
