More about Events at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology

Events at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology are exquisite! The Historical Lobby welcomes you to the College leaving a lasting impression of the intricate architectural detail and grandeur of the property. The marble foyer and ornate wrought iron entranceways are surrounded by stunning murals by Charles Mills, circa 1910, along with a masterpiece oil painting by American painter Henry Bacon “Franklin Chez Lui a Philadelphie,” circa 1912.

The Auditorium/Ballroom can be arranged to accommodate your specific needs whether hosting a corporate event, musical performance or gala event. The Auditorium allows for 350 chairs of proscenium seating (facing the stage). When utilizing as a Ballroom, 200-250 guests can be comfortably seated or 350-400 guests can be accommodated for a stand-up reception. Classrooms and computer labs are available for break-out sessions.

To further enhance the beauty of the Ballroom, the College has a Yamaha Grand Avanti Piano which can be rented for a minimal fee, along with tables, chairs, projector and screen.
