Acreage in all directions, with a main house and multiple out buildings. The main structure is close to 6,500 square feet including 6 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, a state of the art kitchen, formal and informal dining rooms, gentlemen and ladies parlors.

The acreage is cross-fenced and scenic with a 50 tree peach orchard, grape orchard, pecan, fig, persimmon, pear, pine, oak, magnolia trees and other greenery. Everhope backs up to a 800 hundred acre farm and from the front overlooks Highway 14 onto the sprawling Metcalf (Horse & Cattle) Ranch.

Everhope’s architect (David Rinehart Anthony) designed the home to be Big, Bold & Beautiful. A Sept. 23, 2009 article by the Gazette stated “The simplistic yet, graceful lines of Everhope make it one of the most beautiful plantation homes in Alabama”.
