Bean High School (commonly referred to as Everman, Everman High School, and EHS and also E-Block) is a public secondary school located in Everman, Texas (a suburb south of Fort Worth, Texas). The school is a part of the Everman Independent School District (commonly referred to as Everman ISD) and serves students in grades 9-12. The school mascot is the Bulldog, and schools colors are purple and gold.Everman High School houses students in grades 9-12. Most of the grade 9 classes are taught in the Jefferson Davis, Jr. Ninth Grade Center, which opened to the west of the existing campus in January 2008.HistoryEverman High School started out as part of the Everman School in the 1900s. It was a grade school, middle school, and high school for the children of Everman, Texas (then known as the community of Enon). The Everman School building is now Hommel Elementary School.Everman High School was built in the 1950s and is still in use today. In the 1990s, Everman High School was renamed Everman Joe C. Bean High School after Dr. Joe C. Bean (former Everman Independent School District principal and superintendent).SportsEverman High School offers a variety of sports programs and dance ensembles.
