A Leader in Early American Golf and Club Life
Members of Exmoor Country Club are part of a tradition of family-oriented activities with a focus on participation, skill development, and good sportsmanship.
In 1896, Exmoor’s founders were business, professional and civic leaders who cared deeply about their country and community. They established a standard for club governance that continues today, with an elected leadership that promotes member involvement to attain excellence in club facilities, programs, and services.
This heritage has yielded what we enjoy today – a championship golf course, varied sports opportunities, fine dining, and exciting social programs.
The club's name was inspired by the English country setting of the popular 19th century British novel, "Lorna Doone: A Romance of Exmoor."
