Export CRuisers Co. Restoration was established in 2010 in Costa Rica.
Founding partners, brought together by their passion for the Toyota Land Cruisers Series as well as for the art of restoration, have since serviced the US market with over a dozen vehicles.
In the beginning, vehicles were sent with a light restoration or in some cases as found in the market, as requested by costumers. Nonetheless, this doesn’t do justice to their beauty, which is why we believe in treating each car as an individual masterpiece, and journey through the best frame off restoration process before handing each Toyota Land Cruiser to our costumers.
Costa Rica is full of rural scenic landscapes, perfect to be traveled to in a Land Cruiser.
This is probably why the Toyota Land Cruisers are so imbedded in Costa Rican culture, these indestructible vehicles were for decades the signature, in vogue car in Costa Rica, not only for their beauty, their durability and their resistance, but also because they were the most reliable cars that could travel our untraveled roads.
Memories of childhood road trips still linger in our founders with every restoration. Their resilient character reflected on each of these vehicles not only withstanding the test of time, but becoming better by it.
