Eye Clinic for Animals of Arkansas

Dr. Mario Hodgson is a 2002 graduate of Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He worked two years in private practice before accepting a 3 year ACVO approved residency in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2004. He was awarded the prestigious ACVO Vision For Animals Foundation Grant for his work in corneal wound healing in 2005. He completed his residency in 2007. Dr. Hodgson has been examining and fixing eyes since opening his first practice, Eye Clinic For Animals of Sarasota in Florida in 2007. Dr. Hodgson is happy to open his own eye exclusive practice in his home state of Arkansas. Dr. Hodgson is actively pursuing Board Specialist Designation by the ACVO.

We are no longer going to Ft. Smith because we have had to add days on to Springdale and Sherwood to keep up with the increasing demand in both areas. New clients in the Ft. Smith area will need to go to Springdale and Russellville can go to either Springdale or Sherwood. The office will remain available to our existing Ft. Smith patients for meds and questions. The Ft. Smith Office is located at the Fort Smith Animal Emergency Clinic at 4301 Regions Park Drive.
