Refractive Surgery:
Eyecare Medical Group has the distinction of having performed the very first refractive surgery in Maine in 1991. In 1996, EMG purchased the first excimer laser in the state. Today, we use the Allegretto Wave Eye-Q laser system, which incorporates wavefront optimization for a custom treatment so that the greatest quality of vision can be acheived.
