F5 Ranch

My name is Chris Freeman. My wife Natalie and kids Olivia, Caroline, Beau, and Millie own and operate F5 Ranch located in Canton, TX. The oil & gas industry has relocated my family all over the United States. In 2013, we relocated one last time to where we purchased our ranch. This is where we started our first registered cattle herd. After taking a more in depth look into our herd, we decided to disperse and rebuild a registered Hereford herd that offered the phenotype and structure that cattlemen today are seeking. We contacted Dimitri Mataragas at Iron Lake Ranch and began selectively choosing Hereford females and bulls that were ideal for the type of end product we wanted to offer. Our pedigrees include some of the most sought after offspring in the Hereford breed. Bulls like C Miles McKee, Regal, Red Bull, 88X, Catapult, Peace of Mind, 10Y and other selected popular herd sires. Our cow families include the best of Line One, P606, and Embracer. Our main focus is on udder quality, phenotype, and fertility. We also maintain a set of registered 44 Farms Angus females to produce top end F1 baldy replacement heifers.
