Fair Winds Racing

Fair Winds Farm, Fair Weather Farm's sister farm and formally Cross Winds Farm, is a full service boarding and training facility.

Amenities include: 10x12 stalls equipped with sliding stall doors with yokes; 7 day/week stall cleaning; 7 day/week turn out in one of our 14 pastures; 3 arenas; high quality hay provided throughout the day; personalized feeding program for each horse and their needs (Tribute); blanket/sheet and bell/splint boot changes for turnout; multiple grooming/wash racks with hot water; private lockers; adjacent cross country field. Manager lives on-site.

We offer Thoroughbred mare and foal care, breaking, training, sales prep, lay-ups and rehab. We are located just 25 minutes from Thistledown Racino and 50 minutes from Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course.

Fair Winds is undergoing a major facelift. Some major projects currently being worked on are: remodeling the lounge and viewing area, and drainage system throughout the property.

We are very excited with the completed projects which include: new windows throughout the barn, 35 completely renovated stalls including new sliding stalls doors with yolks, new stalls mats, and new windows in each stall with grates.

Future projects include: new and updated fencing, all season paddocks, lighting, updating all 3 of the arenas.
