Fairview is a census-designated place (CDP) in Alameda County, California, United States. It borders on the cities of Hayward and Castro Valley. The racial makeup of the CDP was 45.0% White (36.2% non-Hispanic), 21.0% African American (20.5% non-Hispanic), 0.8% Native American, 15.2% Asian, 1.3% Pacific Islander, 9.1% from other races, and 7.6% from two or more races. 21.7% of the population was Hispanic or Latino of any race.
