Family Behavior Therapy

Family Behavior Therapy has committed Behavior Analysts and Behavior Technicians to help you achieve the goals that you set for yourself and your family. You can progress by attending treatment activities as scheduled. Your desire to reach the goals you have set is the key to success. Be honest about what you want to do and the things that prevent success. This is a time to fully use our services to make changes in your life and get results.

Family Behavior Therapy provides applied behavior analysis services. Applied behavior analysis is an approach to changing and managing behavior. The goal of applied behavior analysis is to increase desired (appropriate) behaviors and to reduce undesired behaviors. Behavior analysis services include, but are not limited to:
1. Assessing child behaviors of concern and identifying appropriate
replacement behaviors.
2.Developing treatment strategies to increase and maintain appropriate
behaviors and decrease behaviors of concern.
3.Training caregivers to implement treatment strategies, in the classroom
and in the home or other natural settings.
4.Teaching children self-care, daily-living skills, social and academic skills,
as necessary.

Behavior analysis services are usually conducted in the home, school, or community setting where problem behavior has been reported. Classes are sometimes offered at office locations. The frequency and duration of service visits are determined according to the client’s needs, availability of caregivers, and other factors. There is no contract or long-term commitment required. When you are satisfied with the change in your child’s behavior, services are completed.
