Family Caregiver Solutions

In February of 2016, Family Caregiver Solutions Adult Day Care was formed to provide respite for the caregivers of the seniors in the community. The organization was founded by family members (2 Registered Nurses and a MBA) who all work within the senior health and living communities. They noticed the aging baby boomer population and the desire to keep seniors at home and out of costly assisted living and nursing facilities. These factors create a need for adult day centers that offer a safe and caring environment while the caregivers go to work or simply run errands.

Family Caregiver Solutions (FCS) is a nonprofit organization serving the senior community and their caregivers. FCS provides a safe and socially stimulating day program for our participants with the goal to enrich the participant’s life, build their skills and knowledge while promoting independence. We provide avenues to renew old interest as well as new skills to experience a continued sense of accomplishments and self-worth. FCS also provides support to the caregiver, not only through respite care but education and additional resources as well. Our program offers an array of therapeutic and recreational activities, ADL assistance, medication reminders and nutritional meals and snacks.
