Family Christian Center

In 2005, Pastor Tyrone Newman along with his wife, Valerie, being obedient to God, answered the call to be the founders of Family Christian Center (FCC). FCC held its first Worship Service on March 5, 2005 in the Masonic Temple at 395 S Thomas Street in Pomona.

In the first several months following its inception, several Ministries were organized: a Sanctuary Choir, Men of Valor, Little Pearls, Lady Pearls, Homeless Ministry (which has served over 200 people in downtown L.A. every month since it began on 9/13/2005), Usher Board, Finance Committee, Pastor's Aide, Walking Ministry and Deacon’s Board.

On August 28th 2005, the first Baptism service was held at the home of Pastor & 1st Lady Newman.
13 Candidates were Baptized on that Day.The first Tuesday night Bible Study meeting was held on September 13, 2005 at the home of Rev & Sis Atkins.

In the years that followed, the Bible Study location changed from the Atkins home to the North Towne Christian Church in Pomona. This was the result of a relationship that developed between Pastor Newman and the Pastor of that Church. Through the Prayers and the Faith of FCC and the Grace of God, the church was offered to FCC to use as its location for Sunday Worship.

We remained at that location for one year and on September 4, 2011, FCC held its first service at it's current location of 1429 N Euclid Ave, In Ontario,Ca.
FCC has been consistent in it's Faith, and through God’s Grace He continues to show us that if we keep having Faith, and doing His work ‘Decent and In Order’ in a manner pleasing to His sight…
