Family Health Clinic

The Family Health Clinic has served the community for over 20 years offering high quality, accessible and affordable primary health care services to people of all ages. The friendly and courteous staff offer compassionate professional care with dignity. There is easy, sometimes same day, appointment scheduling in a convenient community-based facility. With a focus on health education and personalized health promotions, patients are put at the forefront of medical care and treatment.

The Family Health Clinic is staffed by Advance Practice Nurses. Nurse Practitioners are registered nurses who have advanced educational and clinical training to perform health histories, physical examinations, treat minor and acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions, prescribe medications and conduct lab tests as needed. They consult with and refer to their collaborating physicians. In addition referrals are made to specialists as needed on an individualized basis.

The Family Health Clinic accepts patients that have insurance as well as those that do not currently have insurance coverage. A sliding fee scale is available to patients based on income level to help offset the cost of medical care.
There is also an onsite Insurance Navigator to assist with insurance options, applications and enrollment.

Affiliated with the Purdue School of Nursing, The Family Health Clinic provides access to safe, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare.This clinic provides an opportunity for the integration of research/discovery, practice/service and education/learning. Currently, several Purdue University School of Nursing faculty use this site for clinical practice.

The Family Health Clinic does NOT provide emergency care, such as chest pain, bleeding, premature labor, or trauma. For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
