Family history research conducted by a trained historian with experience in archival research, courthouse research, family history center (LDS Church) research, and experience in conducting oral histories.
I studied public history at Middle Tennessee State University, I have ten years of genealogy experience researching for myself and others, and I have worked in archives and museums.
I have access to records across the state of Mississippi, southern Louisiana, and southern Alabama from local libraries and historical societies to local courthouse records and state archives. I also perform online research using a variety of sources. I hope to expand my research capabilities to surrounding states in the future.
I offer three types of research packages:
Package 1: Single-line research (a grandfather's family, for example), including census records, vital records, land and probate records, and oral histories (if requested)
Package 2: Double-line research (a grandfather's and grandmother's families, for example), including census records, vital records, land and probate records, and oral histories (if requested)
Package 3: Multiple-line research (all the other branches of a family...cousins, for example), including census records, vital records, land and probate records, and oral histories (if requested)
My research fees are per hour. I accept payment through PayPal, which is a completely secure system.
Please email me or send me a message through Facebook if you are interested in my services. I would be glad to help you!
