We believe that it is possible to be relevant to our culture without compromising the Word of God. We are real people serving a real God hoping to make a real impact in our world.


OUR CORE BELIEFS:

-The Bible is the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:15 – 16)
-There is only one true God, eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Gen. 1:26; Deut. 32.39; Matt. 28:19; John 1:1-4,14,32)
-Jesus was miraculously born of the virgin, Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified on a cross and rose again the third day. (Matt. 1:18-24; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 John 3:5; John 19:41-20-:10,19-20)
-The only way to heaven is by trusting in the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and accepting His death on the cross as payment for our sin. (Rom. 10:9-10; Eph. 2:8-9)
-There is a literal Heaven and a literal Hell. (2 Cor. 12:1-4; Rev. 4:1-2; Mark 9:42-48; Rev. 20:11-15)
-It is God’s desire that no one should perish, but everyone come to repentance and be saved. (John 3:16; 2 Pet. 3:9; 1 Tim. 2:4)
-Water baptism is by immersion, showing the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that it also signifies the death and burial of the believer’s old life and his/her resurrection to a new life in Christ. (Matt. 3:13-16; Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:1-5)
-The gifts of the Holy Spirit are still in operation today, and they should operate in the local congregation and in the life of the believer. (Rom. 11:29; 1 Cor. 12:1-11; Acts 2:38-39)
