Family Swim School

The Family Swim School of Eagan and Lakeville introduced the "swim school" concept to the land of 10,000 lakes in 1990.

Our small class size and warm water attracts many families, like your own, to the swim school concept. Our proven learn-to-swim system, developed under the direction of Peter and Katherine Schrock, is based on the philosophy swimming should be a part of a child's "education for life".

Family Swim School's approach is to instruct all students, beginning at Tadfin through Racerfin, in Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly, ensuring a well-rounded swimming experience. Each lesson is taught in a breakdown of ability-appropriate drills and skills in an activity oriented approach. Strength, endurance and correct stroke fundamentals are qualifications for advancement through the program's flow of learning. Instructional levels begin with infants and continue through the early teen years. Our year-round, flexible swim sessions allow many class levels to meet every thirty minutes, enabling your swimmers of different ages and abilities to take their lessons at the same time.
