We're a family owned business located in Dixon, Illinois, inspiring others to take pride in their homes through the art of decorating.

At Fancy Farmhouse, our journey began with the simplest of beginnings. What began as a simple hand painted sign for one of our own homes has turned into a beautiful and thriving endeavor. We take pride in our products and aim to create only the best, most positive, fun and stylish pieces for you to showcase in your home or business.

When you buy from us, you get superior service on top of a great product. We want everyone to be able to decorate their homes at an affordable price - which is why we should mention that our prices are 99% of the time lower than any price you find online.

We are two sisters and a mother with a passion for what we do and that is for you to love your home.

We chose to create our signs with multi-ply plywood for long lasting durability and accidental drops. Each sign is hand painted followed by our own distressing technique to give it a weathered and worn look. Although hand making our product does cause variations between the picture and the received item, we try our best to maintain quality and accuracy for each and every order.

We offer hand-painted wood signs, holiday décor, centerpiece/decorative storage boxes, handmade furniture and re-finished furniture. Starting in summer 2016, we will be reaching out to wholesalers to get even more products! Dreamy rich green boxwood wreaths, cotton wreaths, some of the same products that Joanna Gaines uses on Fixer Upper and much more. We also do free consultations for home decorating - we will come to your home and give you ideas for what can be done to make your house your home. In December 2015, we hosted our first DIY Workshop and it was a hit! We can fit up to 28 people in our shop!
