Origin of Farlo’s Burrito Bar

Farlo’s Burrito Bar is owned and operated by John Farrelly, who was born and raised in Myrtle Beach. His childhood nickname was Farlo, hence the name of the restaurant. John has a passion for Burritos, born out of his travels to 13 different countries around the world, including those in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia. Upon his return to Myrtle Beach, he observed a lack of available burrito restaurants in the area and decided to fill that void by creating his own burrito bar. He intends to make Farlo’s Burrito Bar a friendly location, providing excellent food for the local population and tourists alike. This attractive restaurant with its central location should attract both groups year round, and the addition of a Myrtle Beach City outdoor concert venue on the old Pavilion grounds, next to Adrenaline Adventures, will guarantee a wide variety of musical and cultural events throughout the year.

The Burrito Bar Experience

Burrito Bars have direct ties to Mexican cuisine but specifically grew in the United States based upon Southwestern lifestyles; a culture on the go, seeking tasty, nutritious, and healthy fast food options. Burritos succeed in meeting all these goals and more. And yes, size does matter! All our burritos will be stuffed to capacity for a complete meal. For those with smaller appetites, a three hard or soft shell taco option will be readily available.

Farlo’s Burrito Bar Ambiance

Farlo’s Burrito Bar is equipped with a state of the art sound system, HD TV, and Wi-Fi. The seating arrangements include window seats looking out at the Adrenaline Adventures zip wires and the ocean beyond, and the exciting intersection of Hwy 501 and Hwy 17 Business. The restaurant also has a 21 foot-long bar situated along an interior wall, complete with comfortable bar stools, and with other circular tables scattered throughout.
