Farm Field Table

Welcome to Farm Field Table. We are a Butcher shop and marketplace that believes in utilizing products from local farms that offer humanely raised animals that are free of hormones, steroids, and antibiotics. We believe that buying from local farmers is the right thing to do nutritionally and economically.
Farm Field Table was borne out of the lack of access to fresh and local meats. We own and operate The Mulefoot Gastropub in Imlay City, Michigan which was rated a top 100 restaurant in the country by Opentable.com as well the honor of "Best of Hour Detroit" in 2015. We have realized through owning a restaurant and being consumers of local products that its hard to get to a farmers market, and sometimes even the farmers market isn't serving products the way we believe it should be served.

Farm Field Table was formed to give access to high quality local products that are free of antibiotics, steroids, and hormones. We only accept animals that are fed a rounded diet of grass and feed while having room to move around a graze. We are against animals cooped up in a feed lot without room to move freely. We also believe that animals should have a well rounded diet vs. a simple commodity fed diet. We believe a rounded diet adds to the nutritional value of the meat. We are health conscious chefs that care about high quality local ingredients and If you believe in the phrase "You are what you eat." then you have certainly come to the right place.
