About Father's House : Core Values

We believe it’s of primary importance that we recognize and implement Godly Core Values into the lives of the partners of Father’s House. We believe that our core values are the path that guides us as we accomplish the vision that God has given us with integrity and stewardship. As a church, we value:

The Word of God: The ultimate
authority in all we do.

We believe the Bible is God’s Word. It is the truth that guides us in our understanding of God, His desires and purposes. We believe that every partner should be a diligent student of the Word, and respond in obedience to its commands on a daily basis. (Psalm 19:7-11; John 15:7-11; II Timothy 3:16-17)


Prayer: The practiced discipline that reflects our dependency on God.

Through prayer we communicate with God and align our hearts and lives with Him. Every partner is encouraged to participate in corporate and individual prayer with thanksgiving and praise. (Psalm 5:1-3; Matthew 6:5-9; Colossians 4:2)


Giving: The Lordship of Christ expressed through cheerful giving.

We believe giving to be an outward expression of the love that is within us for God and His people. Every partner has the opportunity to honor the Lord through cheerful, worshipful, and bountiful giving. Jesus said, “It is better to give than to receive.” Therefore, we strive to generously give away the truth, time, talents, and treasure God has given us. (Proverbs 3:9-10; Acts 20:35; II Corinthians 9)


Praise and Worship: The Expression
of Glory to God due His name.

We desire to acknowledge God’s supremacy and wondrous works as a body and in our personal lives through praise and worship. Father’s House is devoted to authentic, relevant expressions of praise and worship that give glory to God. (Psalm 96; John 4:23-24; Hebrews 13:15 amp, Revelations 5:11-14)


People: The Recognition of
every individual’s eternal value and purpose.

God loves people. As His body, we humbly embrace God’s mandate to reach people, restore them into His image, and release them into divine purpose by His grace. (Jeremiah 29:11; Isaiah 58: 12; John 3:16; I Peter 4:8-11)


Relationships: The commitment to authentic relationships among families and one another.

We believe in cultivating, building, and sustaining environments where authentic, godly relationships are modeled and acquired among families and one another. (I Samuel 20: 17; John 17:20-24; Ephesians 4:25-32)


The Spirit-filled Life: The divine enablement to demonstrate God’s grace and goodness.

We depend on the Holy Spirit to empower us to fulfill the purpose of this house. We encourage all partners to receive and experience the power, gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit as Jesus promised and commanded; thereby to assist in their spiritual growth into the likeness of Christ in character, witness and service. (Acts 1:1-8; John 14:16-17, 25-26; John 16:7-14)
